SOUNDGUY - My HDTV's scans for ANALOG first and then DIGITAL. I can't remember when I have seen an analog TV signal... All of the LO-VHF stations around here changed to DIGITAL UHF Stations... Granted the HIGH VHF channels (CH's 7 and UP I think it is) are still available to use for DIGITAL UHF channels but they show up as DIGITAL STATIONs on the scan side... Have seen some of that but I sure don't see any more analog TV stations on the air here anymore where we camp... Somethings I will pick up CH3 or CH4 when someone close is using that channel in their camper doing some down converting I guess...
Most of the CAMP GROUNDs on the other hand still use a digital to analog converter to send out CABLE TV to all of the users which will work for the old Analog TV's without a conversion box. When I scan my HDTV at the camp grounds it picks up the available channels on the ANALOG side... Its taking some of the camp grounds a long time to convert over to all DIGITAL I guess... We actually usually rather to use our OTA antenna when at the local camp grounds so we can get the NATL BROADCAST stations in full High def mode haha...
Maybe I am missing something here... Probably my choice of words did me in haha...
As they say on Hawaii 5-0 "me good"
