Good advice.....and bad.
12.8 is fully charged for an AGM.
12.6 is fully charged for a conventional wet cell.
So it is not accurate to say "anything under 12.8 is not good".
Something around 12.3 is half discharged and that is kind of a benchmark. A deep cycle should be able to handle a 12.0 discharge.
In addition to the battery being worn out.....probably.....it might not be charging when it should either.
Was there any heat running ??
