I have an old flojet that was used a few times years ago.. it was given to me and I am not sure it is up to the task?? I hooked it up to power, and it sound weak, the impeller and blades are turning....

That instruction was in my paper troubleshooting guide included with my flojet. It wasn't on the quick instruction sticker.
