Not to change the subject but I have always wondered why no one has installed a Macerated toilet in their camper . Doing a little research you can find them as low as 350.00 given the fact that most people change their toilets out to the Dometic 320 for about 220.00 a little more and this would remove the need for what to me looks like a pain in the can to use a Macerated pump and hose connection with associated wiring outside the camper. While people are waiting impatiently of course for you to get all this equipment to work and cleaned up.
The boat industry has been using them for ever and with good service. I would think this would speed up our husbandly chores at the dump station cause just hooking up the 3" hose and pulling the lever is to simple and much faster.
I suppose the other benefit of a macerator toilet is it would be just about impossible to clog up the tank outlet like you read about from time to time and the actual evacuation of the tank through the hose would be smooth sailing and you wouldn't have all that equipment to handle and put away when done and you wouldn't have to listen to the Meat Head behind you hollering "Hey you about done there partner".
I was going to replace my toilet with the 320 in our new camper but I might just go in this direction instead.
