Best roof protection,coating?

I am looking for something to refinish my campers roof,
,its made of plywood coated with epoxy and after few years it always needs repainting..
Looking for something more durable longer lasting..
Is this product as good as they claim?

Thank you
  • A boaters mind coming at you. From what you say the roof seems to be in good shape & already coated with epoxy. By that I assume epoxy resin as used in boats. Tough stuff.

I had a boat with a cockpit deck constructed much the same way. Topcoat used was epoxy paint. Not the 2 part type. Very durable especially if more than 1 coat is applied. A good idea to have the paint shop mix in non skid grit otherwise you will have one very slick roof.

Yep. Epoxy is tough. But UV kills it, that's why it's important to paint it over. 100% acrylic latex paint works well. Won't last same long as epoxy paint, but it's so much cheaper that it pays off eventually. When epoxied ply starts deteriorating, it's usually at the edges or damages/imperfections on the surface. If it still looks intact, I wouldn't bother with EPDM.
