Is there any way you could put a board between the two sides, get some more foam to fit between them, and make the entire back end a single bed? The space to sprawl out would be so much nicer. Then when done, remove it and you have 2 benches again? At this point, it wouldn't take much to make that happen.
Yes that could be easily done. We are going to try adding some back rests today. If that is not a good/comfortable idea we may add something in the middle but maybe not. We really do like the open space and no need to climb over each other to get to the bathroom at night. It was a long way out of the old bed, lol.
