As Gedtrailer said above, it depends. In my 5er, the fresh water tank was installed under the (very uncomfortable) couch. The couch was not a full piece of furniture, the couch part was mounted on a set of 2X4 stands at the end with an upholstered piece of hardboard as the front panel.
If you're looking used, you will have to inspect every coach to determine if you can easily remove the existing unit. If you can, then you can find a couch that will fit, or have one made to fit.
