Most people will take the roof off from the top , reframe, new plywood cover, then recover the roof
But I know one person that repaired a section from the inside
He took down the inside ceiling panels, took picture of the wire routing ( goes thru holes in the trusses )
Disconnected or cut wires at the light fixtures etc..
Then cut and installed new trusses, drilled holes, and put the wire back in
Then covered with new ceiling panel
This does not replace the roof plywood or the leak that caused the problem
It does depend heavily on the type and amount of damage
But it might be easier to do than opening and maybe removing the entire roof
