Costco 6V GC battery price?

We have sams here. they sell the duracell GC2

89 bucks for the 215 Ah 6 volts
109 bucks for the 230 Ah 6 volts.

Around $80 each.

If you do not travel far from home then buy close to home so IF there is a problem you have a local guy to deal with.
IF however you travel long distances then maybe the trip is worth it.
How much extra time do you expect to get from the switch or are there other factors

Traveling "quite a ways" for a battery and paying for the privledge? You know what I'm going to say...

But if there is other value like 4% cash back on fuel, some lower priced or better values then it might be worth it.

Check the rating and stock in your local store. Very likely it will be the 208 amp/hr battery.
Sam's Club by me sells both the 208 Ah and the 232 Ah (or is it 220?)

I've bought batteries from Costco and found their prices to be quite competitive. However, in your case you might want to check out the Interstate Distributor in your area to see if they have any "blemished" batteries. These are batteries that were not sold by dealers and returned to the distributor due to age. The distributor checks the batteries before offering them for sale, which is normally at a little more than 1/2 price. I've bought several from them and have good luck. Our distributor is in Lynnwood, south of Everett.

I bought a pair of 6v GC batteries from Sams a couple of years ago for the rig I just traded in and they were fine. Was just looking for my new rig and Costco and Sams had a 6v equivalent in amp hr for about $85 Sams also had a higher amp hr rated for about $113.

As of a week ago Costco in Tigard was $87.95. Item number 245725.

I just swapped my two 12 volts out and went to the Trojan T-105's for $135.41 each but they are higher amp rating.

Mainly looking for more amp hours for boondocking. But perhaps not really necessary since we don't get to camp more than 2 or 3 weeks in the summers. I have a pair of group 24's that are 3 years old that seem to be losing charge as they sit, so I think they are on the way out. I'll check out the Tigard Costco, and also double check my space; our Outdoors RV Back Country has a curved front end cap that makes it tough to access the shorter group 24's....so I might be barking up the wrong tree looking at the taller GC2's.
