I don't think you'll have any problem. I installed the same product and the door doesn't even a frame for the window - just styrofoam. The window's frame is the same thickness as the door so it should work fine.
You do need to cut all the way through the door so the inside edge and styrofoam is clean. I would use a jigsaw with a fine metal cutting blade.
