Decal replacement

Anyone have advise on replacing decals that are peeling off on a corrugated aluminum sided travel trailer? Only you tube videos I could find was doing it on smooth sided fiberglass. I assume the aluminum is more difficult than the fiberglass to do trying to get them smoothed out over the ridges and so forth.
  • As posted elsewhere, Marabu Classic coating is for graphics, to protect them.
  • i replaced the 32” wide Jay-Flight decal on the front of mine. The ribs in the aluminum did not affect the installation at all.Be sure to remove the old decal and adhesive. A careful use of a heat gun makes quick work of the old decal removal. I got some plastic razor blades at a boat place also so the paint on the siding wouldn’t get scratched.

Mine need replaced on my trailer. I can't see myself doing them and looking correct. I will make arangments with a place that does vinyl wraps for cars to install my graphics.

    RRR beat me to it.
  • You might want to try a shop that does vehicle graphics -- like the ones that do it for police cars. It'll cost you more than if you did it yourself, but you'll probably be happier with the quality of materials and workmanship once it's finished. Just a suggestion.
