Oh, it goes by codes not wire color so before you unhook the old thermostat you need to note the original wire locations (it comes with stickers to label to wires). Since I only have 2 wires, I just moved one and then the other to the new thermostat. - SoundGuyExplorerNot quite sure what you mean by "plug/play" as any thermostat change will require interpreting wire colour codes and what each wire does. That said, I installed a Hunter 42999B digital thermostat in place of the bi-metal Coleman that was in our previous KZ Spree. It's a pretty common mod, lots of videos on YouTube. Good idea to add your own A/C fan speed switch while you're at it. Pics of mine ...
