Dometic 310 RV Toilet

I recently purchased a Dometic 310 RV toilet (out-of-the-box) for my Jayco Eagle from my local Jayco dealer to replace that flimsy plastic toilet that came with the trailer. I installed the unit myself which was fairly straight forward other than having to modify the pex water line.

Once I went through the paperwork that came with the unit, I noticed the owner's manual was for the Thetford Fresh Water Flush Permanent RV Toilet line & the warranty statement was for the Thetford Permanent Toilet. Are these two companies one in the same? Anyone else seen this?

  • actually i also have the 310 and found out they are all made by sealand.
  • We too have a Dometic 310 in our 5th wheel Sabre and we love it.

Just make sure you always have water or anti-freeze during storage in the bowl, or the circular rubber gasket will dry out and will not want to hold water very long... don't ask me why I know this.

Good strong flush and nice height (unless you bought the low profile unit)
  • I'm surprised that the Dometic Toilet came with Thetford info/manual as there are not under same corp. banner. They are competitors.

Thetford and Norcold are the same
