Dometic Refrigerator

I am surprised that the most common complaint about DOMETIC REFRIGERATOR vent fans have not been solved by the Dometic company! My 2014 Tiffin Open Road rig has a brand new Dometic 4 door Refrigerator that still uses the vent fans that sound like high-pitched model airplane propellers! Since there is no solution, I placed a small, quiet fan inside the outside vent cover and run it continuously during the summer months. I hope this reduces the time the airplane propeller noises reverberate in the coach!

So exterior temps were in the 90's yet your fridge kept internal temps below 40F?

I just spent last weekend with temps in the high 90's and had to turn my fridge down. I kept freezing water bottles. Albeit, not the ones in the door.

At least your Dometic came with vent fans. I'm in the process of modifying mine just to help aid in the rear fins cooling by adding some. This stuff should be on all RV fridges automatically, IMHO.
