I used black abs pipe from Home Depot which is the very same as what's already on the original plumbing. Don't know about other areas but here in Sacramento,CA, abs pipe is used for waste lines and pvc pipe is used for water. When I get a chance ,cause I'm really busy lately, I will try to get a picture of the setup I ended up with. Nothing complicated about it and it looks like it came from the factory this way. By the way, while there are abs to pvc glues, I strongly recommend that you stick with abs because your valves and original black piping is abs already.
