Eternal bond tape or Dicor?

which is better to seal around one of my roof vents? Have a fantastic fan fan that is starting to develop a leak. Have some eternabond tape 2" wide

    Remove the assembly, clean the area, re-bed the whole thing with new sealant, new stainless screws and seal the heads with the best sealant you can buy.
