- busyguyExplorerI used "L" brackets on each end and some plumbers tape in the middle of the coach. Been there for 10 years and still secure. Used square end caps and hinged one end for the hose to go into.
Good luck. Easy project.
Busyguy - One has a metal strap at each end screwed to the frame.
The second has about six zip-ties. - JWRobertsExplorerI used 1" flat aluminum and formed it around the pipe and made a 2" flange on each side. Then screwed the flanges to the frame.
- downtheroadExplorerI used 8+ super heavy duty zip ties from Home Depot. ..48 inch ones that each had a tensile strength of 175 lbs. I secured them through a frame cross member under our trailer. Held perfectly for the 8 years we owned the rig.

It doesn't show very well in the picture but I welded a frame and bolted it to the bottom of the frame. - Gene_GinnyExplorerMy bumper has the spare tire mounted on it using large U-bolts so the square fence post will not sit tight to the bumper. I put a 3/4 inch wood block on each end of the bumper and bolted through the fence post and bumper with these:
Button-Head Stainless Steel Allen-Drive Socket Cap Screw
and - Brad Hole Tee Nut
That leaves a smooth surface inside the fence post and inside the bumper. - rhagfoExplorer IIIWell I just made hangers out of 1" strap steel from HD or Lowes can't remember for sure.
Sorry the picture isn't great. - goducks10ExplorerI just used a piece of angle iron with two long bolts. I had to use some 1-1/2" or so sq tubing as a spacer so I'd clear the gas line.
- johnwalkerpa1ExplorerI used threaded rod with plates and lock nuts, top of the frame and bottom of the fence post. just make sure you don't over-tighten as you can crack or crush the fence post (don't ask me how I know!!) I used 1/2 inch rod which is overkill but I already had it laying around..
- JJnLillyExplorerMy installation is much like goducks except I used aluminum instead of angle iron. Think I used 1/4" threaded rod and aircraft nuts to hold everything together.
