Floor heat
ha anyone here ever put electric heat blankets under their rv flooring? Supposedly, it is only 1/8 thick so if you were replacing carpet with Allure it should fit.

There was an episode of "Ask This Old House" where they covered the installation of an electric heated floor.
It uses heating elements similar to the 'heat tape' that is used for protecting pipes. These are embedded into the floor (grooves in the sub-flooring).
The heating elements are covered with 'thin-set' and ceramic tiles installed.
Temperature control is with a wall mounted thermostat.
