Fridge Fan Results

Recently posted a mod to install thermostatically controlled fridge fans but the spring like weather here :) and where we have travelled did not not present a real challenge for the fridge.
This past week we returned from Minnesota through St Louis when the thermometer downtown hit 102 :(
You can tell from the pic the fridge fans were a big help.
Last year without the fans and similar temps the fridge stayed in the low 50's and the ice cream was mushy.

  • Thanks bob213

I have the 507 TPMS and this model uses 433 MHz. I am not sure if the 510 TPMS also uses 433. I don't think the sensors work with both models, so I am GUESSING the 510 is on a different frequency.

I have the TST (TPMS)system(unbelievable customer service by the way) and the same thermometer as pictured. Mine do not interfere with each other and both work correctly.

Love my remote thermometer that we can watch while driving.
Seeing the temps are ok makes one less thing to worry about while driving - like "is the ice cream getting mushy? "

I also added a couple of fans (top and bottom), it does help.

Sorry for "hitching on you thread."

Just wondering if you (or anyone else) have a tire pressure monitoring system and a remote thermometer, and have experienced any issues with interference between the two. I think most, or all remote thermometer units operate on 433 MHz. My TST TPMS uses the same frequency.

I have not found this to be a problem over the years, however, lately I have been having some boot issues with the TPMS. I have heard this can cause cause a conflict with the TPMS, don't know if it can affect the thermometer in some way.

    What say you?

    Thanks,
