Frig area insulation
I pulled out the frig. Looks like fiberglass style insulation attached to the side walls in the frig area. On one side, the frig caught some of the insulation and pulled it back, reducing its effect....

I agree the polyisocyanurate board is much better for this- the top is the most critical.
