- olfarmerExplorer III just weighed the front axle and then the whole MH. I bought springs that matched the front axle weight.
- turbojimmyExplorerI want to do that to mine as well. I removed the springs earlier this season to replace the air bags (it seemed easier than trying to jam the bags through the small hole in the lower control arm). It's not a horrible job but as you said it's not fun.
I need to have mine weighed before they will sell me springs, they said. I haven't come across a 4-corner scale yet - only front/rear. - fyrflieExplorer IIIMake sure to get the coach aligned using the Supersteer specs.
It makes even more of a difference.
I did mine about five years ago and, to date, that was the best upgrade yet.
Happy Trails.
