This may work for you or not but I'll throw it out there (maybe you already know this). Since installing a solar system, I'm now wondering why I didn't have the capability for years.Solar is just a hands-off and probably the best method of keeping batteries charged. The real beauty of solar is that no trickle chargers or removing of batteries is necessary, the system does it all and does it well. I have a solar controller that is programmable, I can set all of the charge voltages and durations, even an equalization cycle. I will have to see what kind of longevity I get out of the batteries but I'm betting it will be at least a couple of years more than using a conventional charger. OK, end of unsolicited endorement of solar. Good luck with your fridge and the electrical.
