This is a great idea.
I plan to make one of these for this purpose:
I have a front hitch on my F250. It is very useful for several things, including hitching the trailer to when I have to push it into a very tight or otherwise difficult spot that makes it impossible to back into.
Since my front hitch is rated only for 500 pounds, and my trailer's hitch weight is almost 1000 pounds, I use the trailer's jack post and wheel to take some of the excessive load from my truck and hitch. A larger wheel would be a welcome enhancement in this process. A larger wheel would roll much easier for manuevering and make it less likely I'll damage the jack post on rough ground, which is always a fear I have.
I am even considering the use of a small pneumatic tire on the post.
