Thanks for the response, I keep trying to reply but site says connection reset , so I give up.
The information I find missing is temperatures. It is easy to put a remote in the box and come up with a temperature somewhat above ambient, put in the intake air flow even ambient.
If I put my gen on the floor and run it at 84° ambient the case at the base of the handle on the exhaust side will run about 93°, no load in the shade.
Put in my box and trying various mock up ducts, looking for the lowest case temp possible at the base of the handle exhaust end, the best I can do is 108° eco mode/no load and averages closer to 113°. That is 20° hotter than outside the box.
But now I have nothing to compare my readings with, except with the gen in free air, compared to that I am running too high or am I?
I am running out of time and may buy a big fan and rip a hole in the end of the box, I do not want to ruin a $1000 generator.
I also want to add fan to the intake, with it on the back of the camper and running while driving I am concerned about a vacuum forming.
