Hook up trailer light receptacle on back of travel trailer?

Okay so here is the deal I recently took my trailer into a weld shop and they welded up a receiver hitch for me on the back of my travel trailer to pull another trailer behind my TT. Anyway would anyo...

1. Go to wal-mart or any auto supply store and purchase the connecter you need - seven or six or four pin.
2. mount it to the bumper or hitch
3. wire it into the trailer wiring
4. OR take the trailer to any auto shop and have it done
