I have received the wrong light a couple of times. I have sent the seller a note thru eBay, telling them that they sent the wrong light, and describe the problem, and they have always made things right. I tell them that I won't return the wrong light since it would cost me more than the lights are worth. It always helps if you wait until the issue is resolved before you give them the feedback.
Good advice. I have sent a message to the seller, first asking for a refund, then quickly adding a message noting the 121 vs 151 LED error and saying I would accept a replacement order.
I didn't leave feedback yet.
I have only ever opened one case with Ebay before on a powder actuated nail gun. It arrived broken and LOADED and JAMMED! I opened a case with seller through ebay. Seller said since I unloaded it, it was now in a different condition. Went through ebay's arbitration (so I thought) and in about 2 mins- almost beating the "you've opened a dispute email" it said they arbitrated for the seller :M
So ebay's "Buyer Protection" is complete******as they must use some automated "arbitration" and this was pretty cut and dry.
So to say I have no faith in Ebay's dispute resolution is an understatement....hopefully the seller will make this right, but if they don't want to, there is little hope except to warn off others.
It's a shame Ebay also owns Paypal now. There is really little to no protection for sellers at all on Ebay.
Anyone have a good Amazon seller/LEDs at a reasonable price to suggest?
Sorry so long winded, but figured it was the best way to fairly state the facts and let everyone make up their own minds about the Ebay seller and let everyone know that if they haven't been screwed on Ebay yet, what they could expect.
