Nice work. I've been looking into those or the brushed metal look for my '84 Allegro. The "retro" wallpaper in the galley is hideous.
I have sort of an unrelated question though: that piece of wood behind your range. What's the purpose? Was it hiding a gap? Installed by the manufacturer? I ask because I recently replaced my vintage range with a new Atwood range and it left about a 3/4" gap right where that wooden thing was on yours.
