Using my 2KW Honda generator I keep my battery bank charged up good every day.
Have had my PD9260C about four years now. Never a hiccup...
I installed my PD9260C closer to my battery bank so I left the 120VAC plug in place and installed a separate 120VAC receptacle for it.
My OFF-ROAD POPUP setup has this homemade Battery Monitor system and I get to watch my PD9260C provide around 53-54 AMPS of charge current everytime I start up in smart mode charging running off my 2KW generator.
I think you did good with your purchase.
