the set that I have you can have them doing fades, flashing, you can speed up or slow down the action, or put it on a solid color, white yellow blue red green or any transition point in between any colors, and dim them
I usually put it on white or bright yellow if I need it bright or pick another color for ambient light, I did put it on a slow fade color change mode, but that got old fast.
its nice as some colors don't attract mosquitos as fast

maybe the OP can post a vid on his doing a slow fade, not flashing
