actually when my awning is out the with the location of the strip it cuts off/shadows out at around 30 feet from the awning, because it is up high directly under the awning rail. neighbouring sites around here typically are 30 feet or more apart,(the sites that is not the rvs) unless your in a koa. but it shadows out sooner than a bunch of nascar lanterns hanging on the outside of the awning flap.;)
