Many times the pump is mounted on a surface that acts like a sound board. Some insulator bushings often help. The 2 hoses hooked to the pump could be transmitting the sound. Some flexible hoses may be in order. In my case, the pex plumbing under the tub was vibrating on the floor structure. I don't care for eliminating all the pump noise. I want to know when it's running, in case of a leak.
