My Pump was noisy somewhat due to a water line banging on a cabinet near the water heater. I still wanted to do better so I did the following:
1. glued a piece of wood to a nearly matching size piece of ergo foam
2. glued it down to the floor and mounted the pump to it. So it is completely isolated from the floor.
3. then I connected the pump to the to the water system with a flex line so it doesn't transmit pump noise thru the water system.
4. I also put an accumulator tank to take away surges
