They look good, Jim. The longevity of the LED's should surpass the original bulbs by years.
FWIW, I mounted the same 48 SMD panels on 16 ga. aluminum sheet with the supplied 3M tape. I think the aluminum sheet helps to dissipate the heat, I haven't had any problems with heat. I did make my own fixtures because the original fixtures and diffusers were either broken or a mess. I would think that mounting the panels to aluminum and mounting in the original fixtures wouldn't be that hard to do.
