Thanks U.P.
How long have you been using them?
Just put them in this year, maybe April. They've been on a lot though because I've been working on the camper. As mentioned, the only problem I've had is with the adhesive letting go. They get hot, much hotter than I expected.
Here's two I removed to show the backside after they lost their grip.
I posted on another thread of my LED panels falling off due to high Ambient heat from the RV sitting in the South Florida Sun. I solved my adhesive problem using 3M VHB Tape (Very High Bond). The tape I purchased is 3/4" wide x 45mil thick and the 300° F. temperature version (Note: there are 2 temperature versions 200° F. & 300° F.). I was lucky in that my local Grainger stocks this PLUS they are having a closeout on a few SKU numbers they have in stock (15 ft roll cost less than $ 7.00 on sale).
Only problem I had was the few lights I tried to use a dab of silicone (as I saw posted in other posts on these LED's). The silicone was a pain to clean off enough to get the new adhesive tape to stick (I had to do 2 lights twice).
Also note that you have to put some pressure on the lights / VHB tape to get the highest bond.
As a side note: the LED's themself when turned on only register 160° - 180° F. after being on for several hours (measured w/ IR Temp. Gun). The China installed adhesive back release paper on my LED's was printed 3M, basically it was not bad Adhesive from the China manufacture but it's not the correct adhesive for the application in High Ambient heat.
