The other way around - as I recall the OP has 2 G24 trailer batteries and a third G24 sitting in the engine compartment of his truck ... truck starting battery isn't involved in this. That G24 under the hood he has wired through a 7-pin Bargman - a poor solution when using heavy gauge booster cables would result in far less voltage drop.
Right but with the chevy I get 14.5v at the bargman. Voltage drop not an issue. But I could probably get better amps with larger wire...
