My TT Mods! Hello!

Hello from Keithville, Louisiana! 1st post, but I've been scouting the site since the Fiance' and I got the wild hair to buy a travel trailer. Long story short, my Fiance' is also my Ex-Wife and the beautiful mother of my 20 year old son and her own 8 year old Blonde haired Angel. We've been apart but remained friends for the last 9 years and all of the petty garbage that we split up for is behind us and we're starting fresh. We used to love to camp and fish and explore and we've owned some run down rv's in the past and decided to start out with a fresh 24ft. Summerland Travel Trailer. She knows that nothing I own will stay "StocK" for more than a few hours and is happy that I have a new project, so here goes most of the stuff I've borrowed from members here.
In the first photo you'll see my Exterior LED Lighting. I have not updated the pics, but all of the lighting is wired to 12v direct as of this morning. No extension cords hanging.

Also note the diy wheel locks/chocks.Had fun making those yesterday.

I added a pass through in the counter top for cord storage

Full LED lighting inside and out. Notice, this trailer is two weeks old and the 194 type halogen bulbs were taking their toll on the light sockets. Very hot.

Edit...Almost forgot my TV mount. The LED TV sucked while seated in the dinette. To far to one side and had a blurred pic. Now I can adjust it.

I did not get pics, but there were a couple of flaws that i found during my first outing last weekend. The bathroom vent lid would crank up but would not come all of the way down. It would hang on the outer shroud. Removed and adjusted that. There was a leak between the roof and awning. I found a joint that the factory had missed sealing. A little white uv resistant silicon fixed that. The last item was the toilet. It would not hold any water. Found that one side of the ball had come loose and wasn't allowing the seal to do it's job. Removed the toilet, repaired the loose screw and all is good.

I had a fellow camper tell me last weekend to get to know my trailer as good as I can and be ready to make repairs when needed. I called the dealer for warranty work on the above and had a two week wait time. I have plans that weekend and decided I'd give it a go myself and I'm very happy that I decided to do it and enjoyed the learning experience. This little trailer will be our Honeymoon Palace and our home away from home and I'm sure there are lots more mods o come.

Thank to all of you in the DIY section for sharing your photos and stories for us newbs to take on.
