I would like to upgrade my lights to LEDs. When I went to the RV dealer, they wanted between 15 and 20 bucks for each bulb! I have decided to look online as they are costing around 2 bucks each. If pay dine that at the RV dealer, but not up to 10 times the price.My issue is one of bulb identification. I have 1 of the big bulb: it's for outside. I have 18 of the small bulbs. Any one know what types of bulbs these are? Moderator edit to re-size picture to forum limit of 640px maximum width.

Large one looks like an 1156. Small ones look like 921. I'm sure you'll hear from someone who is positive.

The metal bayonet base is an 1141, the wedge base is a 921.

Bayonet or round base is a BA15S.

If the round base two pin has one cemter contact it'a a 1156, If two contacts it's a 1141/BA15d. No reason to pay 5 times as much.

An 1141 has a BA15S base, single contact. The 1142 has the BA15D base, double contact.

Do a search on eBay for "led ba15s". You will get many many hits. You can narrow it down by including "warm white" or whatever color you like.

Hi,

Look for led's that have a buck device or for ones that will work from 10 to 30 volts. Warm white with 250 lumens (more is better). I prefer ones that are a flat plate as all the light radiates down, effectively increasing the amount of usable light.

Go to https://www.superbrightleds.com/cat/universal-led-bulb-finder/. Easy bulb I.D. and great pricing. I equipped my new kitchen and family room with 60 feet of LED's, some with remote key fobs to turn on and off AND dim.

ANY of these same LED's and all the control modules I used will also work in an RV.
