new easy to clean backsplash
My GF convinced me that we needed to do something to make clean up easier around the gas cook top.
I ordered a back splash that I have used before in house remodeling, made by Broan, sold by Lowes and others online. It is almond color ( baked on aluminum finish, other colors are available ). Trimmed it down to fit under the cabinet and put a piece on the side and back of the gas burners.
Much easier to clean than scrubbing the fabric covered paneling that was OE. We were beginning to scrub the finish off it. Total cost less than 40 for materials.
