I have never bolted down a chair or loveseat in any of the trailers we have had and it has never moved an inch during braking. I don't see any reason at all to bolt one down unless maybe it is on a hard surface - even then I probably would not do it.

Thank you Barney. You obviously have a lot of experience. What I decided to do was use the 2 L brackets positioned against the inside if the frame and zip tie the couch to the brackets in 2 places. Your reply helped.
