I was going to replace the frosted glass in the door with tinted glass and a new plastic frame, but with the cost of the glass and frame plus shipping I could, for a few bucks more I get this neat win...

In my case it helped in several ways. I had no window in the door so that itself is a plus. It lightened it up big time. I hate the obscure glass on most door windows. With the tinted glass on the Edwin I am able to see out of it. I have the ability to open it and get some more ventilation. Even though you have to open the screen door first to open the slider, it is really nice. Really not a big deal if you can walk and chew gum at the same time!
