No black water tank

Just kicking around some ideas.

Who has gotten rid of their black water tank ? The obvious solution is a composting toilet. A lot of boaters have gone this way, but I am not a big fan.

Ii is likely that I will NEVER boondock. Even if I did, a portable tank SOUNDS like a reasonable solution, BUT I am concerned about hauling around a "liquid toxic bomb" ! Biggest downside would be no "emergency" bathroom break !

Has anyone tried eliminating their black water tank ?

The tank is there, hooked up and working. Why not leave it there and just not use it if you prefer?

    x2!

The only composting toilets I use are in primitive canoe-in campsites in Northern Ontario known as "boom boxes". Too easy just to empty the tanks at the campground or using my macerator at home. I'm pretty ok with someone else taking care of composting it for me.
