Pex tubing.

We have a washer hook up in our fifth-wheel. We will never use it. I would like to cut and cap the pex tubing that goes to the washer hook up. That way I do not have winterize the hook up or de winterize it every year.
What is the best way to cut and cap pex tubing?
  • The only was that would work is the cut the T where the line goes to the washer and replace it with a straight coupling.
  • I think I will try and find the T and remove it and put a straight coupler in its place. When we sale it I will connect it again.
  • The camper was at the dealer getting some work done and I mentioned I wanted to make winterizing the washer hook up easier. The dealer said no problem we can do that. The dealer dded two shot off valves in the basement for the washer hook up at no charge. I was shocked.
  • No charge is unheard of, you must have a great smile.

But seriously, if you shut off the valves how do you drain the lines?
