And still there are these types of posts on here and nothing is done even though they break the rules specified in the forum Rules link. Maybe Good Sam is tolerant of this due to the fear of it's forums becoming irrelevant. The 2 that are seemingly broken by posters in these threads are:
"Flaming" of other participants is strictly forbidden. Professional conduct and respectful behavior towards other members and moderators is a primary requirement for participation on the Open Roads Forum.
Attacks on moderators will not be tolerated and may result in an immediate ban. Moderators have to make difficult judgment calls, but remember, they are human. If you have a concern about a particular moderator or treatment of a post by a moderator, email websitesupport@goodsam.com.
If these an the other rules were more strictly enforced, then RV.net would be a better place - but like the other poster stated, it's been devalued to only be of entertainment value.
I've asked my last technical question on here since getting the RV.net treatment the last time I attempted to glean useful information from here. I'll be around for the entertainment value as well, but may still give opinions from lessons learned to the rare/occasional new user - until the RV.net wolf pack chases them away.
