Unfortunately, this task will have to be done manually until the powers that-be pony up the dough to bring this site up to par with many others. Picture resizing should be a standard feature, as should the picture function be able to upload from the user's hard drive. I have to admit, my programming background has come in handy many times, but the average poster does not have such skills.
Probably expensive, but I'd be willing to kick in.
