Power to a portable 12 volt compressor

Just got a portable Viair air compressor. I want to be able to connect to our TT battery when I need some air. Is there a plug & receptacle of some sort available that can handle the max. current draw of 30 amps? Can't seem to find something on the internet but there's got to be something? I would rather not have to lift the lid off the battery box to get at the terminals. We're always plugged into 120 volts at a CG or at home so not worried about drawing too much from the TT battery.

    Plug and receptacle

I installed a receptacle on each side and a plug on my Viair....7 yrs ago

I installed a adapter on 12V plug and on battery cable clamps so I can use either as needed (truck/clamps----trailer/plug)
  • Anderson Power Pole, available at Powerwerks.com, is a good source.
Many sizes available and pretty much bullet proof.
  • How about opening the hood of your tow vehicle and drawing off that battery?
