Went to the beach last week and finally got around to installing the LED lights I bought. All I can say is I am impressed. I have 3 double light fitures on the ceiling and they are so bright, I only installed one panel on each fixture. Of those 3, I only turn on 2 of them, they are that bright. And the color, in my opinion, are better than the original bulbs.
In my bathroom, I have one-double light fixture and put both panels in. Now, everyone says they are blown away how bright it is inside.
I replaced my outside floodlights too with the cob style, including the night porch light. Again, plenty of light at a fraction of the power consumption.
I have a digital voltmeter inside my toyhauler. When I turned on just 2 of the old style bulbs (1141), the display went from 12.7 down to 11.9 When I replaced the bulbs to LED's (48 panel size), the display went from 12.7 down to 12.6 for the same 2 fixtures.
The results for the two outside floodlights (1156) bulbs were just as good. It went from 12.7 down to 11.7. With the 2 cob style inside, it went from 12.7 down to 12.4/12.3
For the outside patio night light, the 1156 bulb went from 12.7 down to 12.1 When replaced it with the cob style LED, it went from 12.7 down to 12.5
The only thing is will they last?
Inside Dual Fixture (1141) / LED Replacement
Outside Porch Light w/LED Cob Style
Outside Porch Light (1156) / Switched to Cob Style LED
Outside Floodlights / w/Cob Style LED
