rear end ladder
Hi everyone, I need some ideas. I want to install a ladder on the back of my cherokee 2003 25 ft. fifth wheel. It did not come with a ladder. Any suggestions as to brand,easy install etc. Thanks for the input.:)

- Ditto on checking with manufacture. After buying my 2002 Sunline, I inquired about adding ladder and was informed that the back wall did not have the bracing for it unless ladder was ordered prior to construction. I just contacted Winnebago about adding a ladder to our new 2201DS. Reply from Winnebago was that a ladder can be installed but will void my warranty. I've responded by asking if it's possible to have it done at the factory and does having a dealer install it void the warranty.

Does your camper have a "walk-on" roof? Mine has the ladder, but not the walk-on, have to put plywood down to get around up there. Limited usefulness:( - What they said.....
Judoka? - Some campers are "prepped" for ladder installation and some are not. Find out if your is prepped or figure something else out.
- Contact your manufacture and ask for diagram showing stud location in your back wall. They should be able to email it to you.
- You better see what is behind that back wall first. The ladder has to have solid support or the fasteners will pull out.
