I did the cushions from a TC I had a lot of years ago. Tore one apart to get the sizes of all the 'parts'. It really wasn't that hard and I've got hours only on a sewing machine. The worst part was how heavy the material was when there were multiple layers, a heavy duty commercial machine really would have helped.

A real easy way would be a throw to cover it with.

It really is easy to do. Take some junk fabric to make a pattern with. Got that far and realized that yours is probably different than ours. I live too far away to drop in and help you.

Some Night School classes offer Upholstering as one of the courses. Other useful NS courses are Cabinet making and repair and Learning to sew draperies .

My brother-in-law removed his sofa from his RV and took it to an upholstery shop. The upholstery shop told him how much fabric he'd need, then he went to a fabric store and bought the fabric himself. Turned out nice!

Yep, I did it the easiest way: I took it out and to an upholstery shop!
