replace kitchen sink?
Just wondering if anyone has replaced their stock plastic rv sink with a nice stainless Steel one? What issues did you run into etc.... Thanks!

Just removed the original double-bowl cream-enamel RV sink from the father-in-law's travel trailer and replaced it with a monster single-bowl stainless residential sink bought off the shelf in a big-box.
The new sink required a minor mod to the counter-top cutout but the main point is that the RV sink had a wide radius between sides and bottom and the bottom is sloped significantly down to the drain basket, something like a squashed-down funnel, all of which helps draining the sink when less than perfectly level. The residential replacement has a smaller radius between sides and bottom and the slope down to the drain-basket is flatter.
All this means the sink-bowl itself is larger, which might be good, but it must be fairly level to drain completely, which might be an issue. (This trailer is used as a winter home and is parked for months at a time and well leveled so no big deal.)
