as a hiding place for THIS?!
An above-floor slide-out mechanism? (by Happi Jac!) That's a thing? Probably should have guessed what was in that enclosed box under the bed platform. Thought it was just a clever lightweight design to support the bed. Maybe I should have thought more about it when I was under the rig... or asked myself what a hand crank was doing in there!
I had wanted to keep this whole room empty and open, with a Murphy bed in the nose. Now I've got to come up with a way to build over this. I am NOT sacrificing an entire room to a bed.
